Introduction

This article will explain how to setup the iThink Connect Team Spotlight webpart.




To edit the configuration of the iThink Connect Team Spotlight web part, edit the page that hosts the web part.

Hover over the Team Spotlight web part and click the pencil edit icon as you would any other SharePoint webpart.

This will bring up the iThink 365 Team Spotlight webpart configuration pane on the right-hand side of the page.

The following table provides the configuration settings.

Configuration Name

Description

Only Search within this Security Group

This will list all the Microsoft 365 Groups and Microsoft Entra ID Security Groups.

Choose the one you wish to display the people from.

Scroll Speed

The number of seconds that it takes for the carousel to move from one employee to the next.

Set to 0 to not scroll.

Choose a longer number for a smooth scroll action.

Auto Scroll Delay

The number of seconds to wait before scrolling to the next person.

Set 0 to always scroll.

Primary Color

The hex value to use for the Primary color this is the colour of the main block on the web part.

The web part will default to the theme.

Text Color

The color of the web part text.

You can get support and help information by clicking on the About button at the bottom of the configuration pane.

 

Saving your configuration settings

When you are happy with the configuration, then republish the page by clicking on Republish at the top of the SharePoint Page.
